Pick your job. We'll show you the details.

Single items to full rooms. The everyday stuff.

  • General junk removal

One pile, gone. You point, we load.

If it's piled in the corner, the garage, or the side yard, we'll haul it. No item-by-item haggling.

    Most common:
Boxes, household clutter, garage piles, broken furniture, old kids' toys, junk drawers, post-holiday cleanup, "I'll deal with it later" piles that became permanent.
    Typical time:
30 minutes to 2 hours depending on volume.
    What happens to it:
We sort on the truck. Usable items go to Goodwill or Habitat ReStore. Cardboard, metal, and electronics go to recycling. We keep as much as we can out of the dump.
    We don't take:
Hazardous waste, paint, motor oil, propane tanks, ammunition, or chemicals. Text us and we'll point you to the right local resource.
    What we take
    • Boxes of household stuff
    • Random clutter and broken items
    • Old toys, bikes, exercise gear
    • Bagged trash and odds-and-ends
    One quick question

Do you sort it for us?

Yes. Anything reusable gets routed to donation partners. Recyclables get separated. Landfill is last resort.

  • Furniture removal

Couches, dressers, desks: out today. You don't lift a thing.

We carry it down stairs, around tight corners, and out without scuffing your walls.

    Most common:
Sectional couches, recliners, dressers, bed frames, mattresses, desks, dining sets, office chairs, broken IKEA assemblies, that one weird piece nobody wants to deal with.
    Typical time:
15 to 60 minutes for most furniture jobs.
    What happens to it:
Usable furniture in good condition goes to local charities: Goodwill, Habitat ReStore, and shelter partners. Broken pieces get disassembled; wood, metal, and fabric get sorted for recycling where possible.
    We don't take:
Stairs, narrow halls, and tight elevators are included. Just mention them in the photo so we bring the right team.
    What we take
    • Couches, sectionals, recliners
    • Dressers, desks, dining sets
    • Bed frames, headboards
    • Office chairs, bookshelves
    One quick question

Will you donate furniture if it's still good?

Always. Habitat ReStore Monterey Bay and Goodwill Central Coast are our regular drop-offs.

  • Appliance removal

Fridges, washers, AC units: refrigerant-handled, EPA-compliant.

We disconnect, dolly, and disposal-route appliances per Monterey County e-waste rules.

    Most common:
Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, window AC units, water heaters.
    Typical time:
15 to 45 minutes per appliance.
    What happens to it:
Working appliances get donated where possible. Non-working units get drained of refrigerant (EPA-compliant), then sent to certified appliance recyclers. Metals are recovered, no landfill.
    We don't take:
Please have appliances empty at the time of pickup — food, water, and contents removed. Built-in commercial-scale appliances are quoted separately.
    What we take
    • Refrigerators & freezers (Freon evac'd properly)
    • Washers, dryers, dishwashers
    • Stoves, ovens, microwaves
    • AC units, water heaters
    One quick question

    Do you take working appliances?

Yes. Working units go to ReStore or get listed locally instead of the dump.

  • Mattress & box-spring removal

Recycled through Salinas Valley Recycles, not landfilled.

California bans mattresses from landfills. We route every one through Salinas Valley Recycles.

    Most common:
Single mattresses, mattress-and-box-spring sets, multiple mattresses from a downsize or move-out, hotel/short-term-rental swaps.
    Typical time:
10 to 20 minutes per mattress.
    What happens to it:
California requires mattresses to be recycled. We route every one through Salinas Valley Recycles: foam goes to carpet padding, metal springs get melted down, fabric gets used for industrial insulation.
    We don't take:
Bed bug or biohazard mattresses are bagged separately and disposed per California code. Just tell us in the photo.
    What we take
    • Any size mattress (twin to king)
    • Box springs
    • Memory foam, hybrid, latex
    • Bed frames if combined
    One quick question

Do you take bed bug or pet-stained mattresses?

Bagged for transport, yes. Just let us know up front so we come prepared.

  • Hot tub removal

Drained, dismantled, hauled. No deck damage.

We bring saws, dollies, and a plan. Most hot tubs are gone in 2 to 3 hours including cleanup.

    Most common:
Above-ground spas, in-ground spas (shell only; pool removal is separate), broken or leaking hot tubs, post-divorce/post-move spa removals.
    Typical time:
2 to 4 hours including drain time. We schedule a full window, no in-and-out chaos.
    What happens to it:
Acrylic shell gets cut, separated, and disposed responsibly. Pumps, heaters, and electronics go to scrap/e-waste recycling. Wood frame goes to wood recycling where possible.
    We don't take:
Full pool removal isn't included. For in-ground spas we handle the shell only. Deck and patio surfaces stay protected by mats, no damage.
    What we take
    • Acrylic & fiberglass hot tubs
    • Above-ground spas
    • Old swim spas
    • Surround decks if needed
    One quick question

Do you have to cut it apart?

Usually yes. We bring tarps to keep your patio clean and haul every piece in one trip.

  • Yard waste & green debris

Branches, sod, leaves: composted where possible.

Post-pruning, post-storm, post-landscaper: we haul the pile and route it to green-waste facilities.

    Most common:
Tree trimmings, branches, sod from yard projects, leaves, brush clearing, post-storm cleanup, landscape teardown.
    Typical time:
30 to 90 minutes depending on volume.
    What happens to it:
Green waste goes to Monterey County's commercial composting program where possible. Larger logs get routed to mulch facilities. Nothing goes to landfill that doesn't have to.
    We don't take:
Dirt, concrete, large stumps with root balls, and hazardous tree species without prior arrangement. Tree work itself (climbing, felling) is referred out.
    What we take
    • Branches, brush, palm fronds
    • Sod, soil, mulch piles
    • Leaves, lawn clippings
    • Fence boards, broken planters
    One quick question

Do you cut the branches first?

We can chunk them down for transport. Tree work itself (climbing, felling) is referred out.

Scope

What we don't haul (and where to send it).

Honest scope means telling you what we can't do, not just what we can. Here's the list, and the right place to send anything we can't take.

  • Hazardous waste (paint, motor oil, chemicals)

    Regulated separately by California.

Where to send it: Monterey County Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Free drop-off for residents.

  • Propane tanks

    Pressurized-container regulations.

Where to send it: Most local hardware stores accept them for refill or recycling.

  • Ammunition or firearms

    Federal and state regulations.

Where to send it: Contact the Monterey County Sheriff's Office for safe surrender.

  • Asbestos or anything labeled hazmat

    Requires certified abatement.

Where to send it: We'll refer you to a licensed abatement contractor.

  • Vehicles or anything that needs a title

    Title-transfer paperwork required.

Where to send it: Local junkyards or charity vehicle-donation programs.

  • Large concrete, dirt, or full root balls

    Routed to specialty disposal.

Where to send it: We can quote these as a separate specialty job. Text us a photo.

Not sure if your item is on the list? Just text a photo. We'll tell you straight, and if we can't take it, we'll tell you who can.

Common questions

What people ask before they text.

  • Do I need to be home for the pickup?

Nope. As long as the pile is accessible (driveway, side yard, garage with the door open), we can haul it and text you the after-photo when we're done. Lots of our customers schedule a pickup from work and come home to a clean space.

  • How quickly can you come?

Same-day for jobs booked before 2pm, most days. If we're slammed we'll tell you straight. Usually we can offer next-morning at the latest. Holidays and weekends sometimes slip a day.

  • What if my pile is bigger than I thought?

We'll text you a revised quote before we touch anything else. No "well, it turned out to be more than we thought" surprises at the curb. If you decide not to do the extra, you only pay for what we agreed on originally.

  • Do you take electronics, TVs, or computers?

Yes. TVs, monitors, computers, printers, and old electronics all go to certified e-waste recycling. Some items (working flat-screens, recent printers) we route to donation first.

  • What about paint, motor oil, or hazardous waste?

We can't haul those, they're regulated separately. But we know the right places. Text us and we'll point you to the nearest hazardous-waste drop-off (most Monterey County residents have a free option once or twice a year).

  • Is there a minimum charge?

Yes. Every pickup has a minimum that covers travel, sorting, and disposal fees. Most single-item jobs (one couch, one mattress, one fridge) come out at or just above the minimum. Text us a photo and we'll quote the exact number.

  • Do you offer recycling and donation?

That's the whole point of how we built this. Usable items go to Goodwill, Habitat ReStore, and shelter partners. Cardboard, metal, electronics, and mattresses get recycled. We keep as much as we can out of the landfill, and we can text you photos of where your stuff went if you want them.

  • Can you come to a storage unit?

Yes. Storage unit cleanouts are one of our most common jobs, usually time-pressured because of the monthly fee. Text us the unit address and a photo of what's inside; we'll quote it and meet you there.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. California-licensed, fully insured, and we'll text you a copy of our certificate of insurance (COI) within the day if you need it for an HOA, property manager, or commercial job.

  • Do you do hoarder cleanouts or estate cleanouts after a death?

Yes. These are sensitive jobs and we treat them that way. No judgment, no rushing, and we coordinate with family members or executors as needed. Text or call and we can walk through the situation privately before we schedule.
